Corsica

A bit of useless information posted by Graeme. Did you know that Leghorn chooks came from Lavorna? The map I have actually says 'Leghorn' apparently the English interpretation of the name.

The hotel was only 10 minutes from the wharf but we were up at 6 anyway to catch the first ferry. 

 I thought Raewyn might appreciate the photo of a little handicapped girl with her Bichon dog waiting with us ,as she has two of them (dogs )

Well , there goes Italy! OK it was brief but we have a long way to go.

  And 4 hours later, here's Bastia, Corsica. The rain we had on the way has stopped , thankfully

We intend to relax here a few days . This hotel is close to town and has its own beach .(and a church next door)
