First thing we did after breakfast, was find the Gare .(train station) Guy had told me how it was an excellent way to see Corsica. Problem is Guy, they don't take bikes ! I guess it's the same with any town overrun with tourists, the locals aren't as friendly and The information centre was unhelpful to put it kindly. !
Ok , we can go sightseeing on this coast, and we can sail for Marseille from this port also, so we booked our ferry for tomorrow night and took off for a look around
Bloody hills
I like Bastia, lots of restaurants around the square ,all looking across at the ship's disgorging hundreds of cars ,bus's ,trucks and 1000's of people. And it's not even high season. We met several other bikers and they all agreed that the roads were too busy and toooo steep.
We're going on a bus tour tomorrow Yay!
We found a nice old hotel close to the square. Still wash their own sheets, AND hang them out the old way
Meanwhile, back in the chambre, Madame was doing HER washing. The ensuite's like a wardrobe
