Day 35. OMG. HILLS !

2 Bulgarian dishes last night. Christine had pork filets in mushroom sauce with Bulgarian potato salad, I had the crock pot of pork casserole with 'smashed' potatoes. Both wonderful, washed down with a half bottle of Chardonnay and another of cab sav for me . Both excellent. All for $21.
I tell you, this is the place to head with your camper vans.
We didn't wait for breakfast this morning. It was going to get to 31degrees to day ,so we had a coffee, saddled up and hit the road
It's the bikeway to somewhere ? Heres  hoping.
I've seen a few of these bikes with motors.  Maybe it's hilly here !
The rolling countryside of Bulgaria , as we stopped to put on sun block.
We've found the best places to stop on the road are the service stations. I was hanging out for a tomatoe sandwich so made my own .
Yes ,she's doing about 100kms to the liter . Coca cola that is!
Can you spot the horse and cart in the tobacco field ? He'd pick up leaves in one row, say something to the horse and it would take one step forward to the next.
Silistra . 67 hilly kms later !
Typical of most east European cities ,are the hideous apartment blocks on the way in.
The Serdika hotel is new and very nice, and at 60 lev again ,good value . Supposed to be a storm tonight . Here's hoping it'll be fine tomorrow when we cross back into Romania for the last 2 days to Constanta
