Nante

Last nights hotel was nice and evened things up a bit. It was only 20kms to Reze' where John and Myriam live ( a suberb of Nante) but the road was fairly busy.

We picked up the Eurovelo 1 trail again on the edge of the Loire at the old port village of Trente Moulte

While we were relaxing with a beer several reporters turned up with huge cameras . They came to see this massive ship come up the river towed by 4 tugs. 

 It was so big it had to come to the widest part of the river to turn around. The old cranes in the background are at the Jules Verne museum on the Isle de Nante

I badly need a haircut and this chap was advertising them for €10. I think he accidentally gave me a bald spot though

Then around to John and Myriams. 

 We met them years ago in Ireland at a music festival.  Myriams away today but it was good to catch up with John.

And yet another has a chat as she passes. It's a huge house ,once a fromagerie,and our  room is in the
