 It's Sunday morning which is a great time to ride in a city. Strange, the bike lane is in the middle and the cars go down the sides, with the trams

We pass the occupation memorial . On this spot in 1941 the Nazis shot 40 citizens for the killing of one officer.

The Eurovelo 1 trail alternates between the river side and lanes

We're short of maps for this area so while having lunch in a bus stop we got our bearings .

Back on the Nantes-Brest canal now,we follow it in to Blain

The Chateaux at Blain. It's not 3 o'clock yet but Redon is 3 hours away so we decide to stay here. And Christine wants to watch Wimbledon.

This cute little hotel was right in the town centre. Ticked all the Boxs for Christine. Especially the view from our bedroom window !
